I TOOK MY TRUCK TO A REPAIR SHOP IN MICHIGAN FOR BRAKE REPAIRS THE MECHANIC DID INSPECTION AND FOUND BLOWN BRAKE LINE. THEN CHECKED WHOLE SYSTEM FOUND CALIPERS NOT PERFORMING WELL.

THEY OPENED CLAIM AND WENT ROUND&ROUND WITHCLAIMS DEPT. THEY SENT OUT INSPECTOR?? PAID BY WARRANTY COMP.. AFTER 5MIN INSPECTION HE SAID THERE WAS RUST ON LINES& CALIPERS SO THEY WOULD NOT COVER ANY OF THE CLAIM!!.

ALLPARTS LISTED IN CLAIM WERE WARRANTIED AND SAID NOTHING IN MY " GOLD CONTRACT" ABOUT RUST BEING AN EXCLUSION!!. SO IF YOU ARE THINKING ABOUT PURCHASING A CONTRACT FROM THIS COMPANY. BE AWARE THEY WILL FIND AWAY AROUND YOUR CLAIM NO MATTER WHAT YOU HAVE BEEN SOLD ON !!!!.

SAVE YOUR MONEY FOR ANY REPAIRS NEEDED. ** CONSUMER ALERT** DONT FALL PREY TO THESE SCAMS!!!!!!

Product or Service Mentioned: Penn Warranty Corporation Auto Claim.

Reason of review: Warranty issue.

Monetary Loss: $1150.

Preferred solution: Full refund.

I didn't like: Big rip-off.

Extended warranties generally benefit only the company issuing them. These are not warranties as you generally think as the manufacturer type, think more along the lines of insurance company and those tactics : delay and deny.
