Penn Warranty Corporation - Loop holes
I experienced catastrophic engine failure 2 months after buying the warranty and was told this policy will not cover the repair despite the fact that the car had oil. I was told by their representative that the engine was not "lubricated" due to some undetected issue and the policy will not cover damage; I was further informed that if I wished I could have my mechanic tear down the engine further at my own expense to see if the issue could be located and Penn "may or may not cover that part" however they would not replace the engine.
Given I paid out of pocket to diagnosis the engine failure to begin with this warranty was of no use at all A Big Rip Off. $800 + for 12 months; I want my money back!
Reason of review: Warranty issue.
Monetary Loss: $4200.
Preferred solution: Full refund.
